Litter Announcement:
Sire: Lex van der Hornhutte, PH1 (kNPV), A1 hips/elbows, DM n/n.
Lex received 425 out of maximum 435 points in PH1 with commendation. Lex’s father is Orkan vom Heidhof who participated at the IGP3 Bundeseigerprufung (BSP) in 2017, 18, and 19 and finished 15th in 2019. Orkan’s brother Ouzo also participated at the BSP in 2018 and 2019. Orkan’s father, Kinski vom Heidhof, and mother (Ombra vom Erlenbusch) both participated at the BSP. Kinski is a Sid vom Haus Pixner’s son.
Lex’s mother, Fenna van de Hornhutte is also PH1 in KNPV and scored 427 points. She produced two litters and is doing well at 9 years of age. From the first litter, she produced two PH1 and 1 IGP3 bitches, which has never happened before with German Shepherds in the KNPV.
Lex is a large dog with excellent substance, super athletic body, talented jumper, fast, stable, strong, excellent feet, dark eyes, excellent pigment, and these are the reasons we selected him as a stud dog for Alfa.
Dam: SG Alfa vom Patiala, IGP1, hips A1, Elbows A3, DM n/n
Alfa is an excellent female with beautiful body and the temperament of a high quality German Shepherd dog. She is a daughter of our dog V Ucon vom Patiala, IGP3, FH1, IGP3 National competitor with me and Masti zu den Grauen Birken, IGP1, also owned and trained by me. Both parents are healthy and are excellent representation of the breed. I also have Alfa’s full brother Buddy. Alfa’s littermates Aika (OFA good Hips/Elbows), Axel (OFA Excellent hips/elbows), Asha are all excellent dogs. We did this breeding twice and from both breedings the pups were really consistently good.
Both dogs are super stable, and excellent in drive.
Accomplishments:
Trained and employed as a Geotechnical Engineer, (Registered in California) for nearly 40 years, on a full time basis, Ajay has always found time to make his passion for the German Shepherd breed as an integral part of his life. Since childhood, Ajay was always fascinated by animals, especially dogs and horses. When he moved to the United States in the mid 80s, he decided to establish his kennel named after his home town of Patiala, Punjab.
All the dogs that he competed with, Ajay trained them from pups and helped many club members train and title their dogs.
